Sergio Rodrigues
Stool "Mocho"
Hardwood
Measurements: 40 cm x 36h cm
The Mocho stool was the first important piece designed by Sergio. Simple, with a round seat and a crossbar underneath connecting the three legs, the Mocho was the harbinger of a brilliant career. Sergio, who always fed on Brazilian popular culture, was inspired by a country woman milking a cow on one of those typical farm benches, many of them with only one foot. A piece carved from solid wood, the Mocho is a fun yet admirably elegant stool.
The piece was manufactured by Lin Brasil, a licensed company that produces and commercializes the designer’s furniture since the 2000s.
